Battle of the Whites!
Day two of the John Henry Tournament in Strathroy matched us against Ilderton White.  Lachlan was between the posts again today, and he was pumped!

It was clear right away that the team was still flying high after their win yesterday and started the game off strong.  In the first two minutes of the game Will scored two goals, with assists from Tristan and Quinten.  It wasn't long until we started to see our players setting up plays, and making great passing decisions.  Thanks to some awsome team work between Gracie and Grayson, they set Jack up for his first goal of the game. There was a lot of drive in our players today.  Never giving up infront of the net, Gracie scored her first goal of the game.  One of the most exciting plays in the game came when Grayson and Jayden were heading to the net together.  Grayson had control of the puck and at the last minute passed to Jayden, who sent it into the Ilderton net!! Less than five minutes later, Jayden scored his second of the game with a great assist from Zane.  Another hot stick today was in the hands of Megan!  She showed no mercy to the Ilderton goalie and found net twice (once while lying on the ice!!) She had some help from our number one player in assists, Grayson!  Will would find the net one more time before the end of the game with an assist from Lucas.  Lachlan had a couple moments in net, and had some great defensive help from Gracie. We should also point out, that we have some other natural defence players, like Tristan, Nicole, Gracie, and Jackson.   It is also important to mention, that while he may not have had any goals or assists, Cohen played an awsome game and was always getting back on defence or setting up in front of the net.  For his strong effort and teamwork, Cohen received player of the game.   Go White Go!!
Tomorrow we face Strathroy Red.....
